Mick is based in Tickera on the northern Yorke Peninsula. It was three years ago when Mick found his passion to create his pieces by upcycling cutlery and other second hand metals.
Mick enjoys the outdoors and nature. The majority of his sculptures are based on creatures we see most days being flowers, birds, insects and combining these to make a favourite of his the “Happy Busy Garden”.
After doing weekend markets for a couple of years Mick found how important it is to “Listen to the Customer”.
Free standing wrens and frogs were suggestions from customers and have proved to be very popular.
Micks pieces are inspired by gifts from nature far and wide.
